I feel sorry for you my friend. Indian values are most complicated to understand,I agree. But as you say it yourself they are values. It depends on how we use them. Touching feet is a ritual done when one thinks the other person is worth it. If Aish was forced to touch Abhi's feet yes It would have been a crime. If she thinks Abhi is worth respect and touches his feet what's bothering you. Indian values are always attacked by western and Islamic intellects! Their sayings appeal to Indian intellects because other religions were created more recently. And we Indians were under rule of both Islamic and Western rulers. Much of our understanding of our own religion is from research done by western and history written by Islamic rulers. We consider our own history as Mythology so Mahabharata and Ramayan are just tales with no historic significance. But we tend to believe them when some satelites bring us pictures of Adam bridge (oldest bridge between India and Sri lanka) or some westerner discovers ruins of some lost city (Dwaraka) under sea. Before throwing a thought to others do some true research. Before saying something about Indian values first understand them. I am not a scholar but I believe in Indian values and don't force others to respect it. Its individuals who must decide on method of using the great Indian values. Take example of all Indian leaders. Name one person who rejected Indian values and is still remembered as an achiever.

The major attraction of DD was a no-hurry way of presentation. Even ads were so nice.
News was never a tool for political gains. Abhi-Ash marriage might not have appeared on headlines if DD was still dominant channel.
